CESSAHA Head Office

The Church of England Soldiers’, Sailors’ and Airmen’s Housing Association Ltd (CESSA HA), like its sister Charity CESSAC, is not overtly religious in operation, but strives to deliver its work on a foundation of Christian values.

The Association was created from a decision by CESSAC, (which looks after those serving in the Armed Forces) to provide sheltered housing for veteran Service personnel aged over 60. Incorporated in 1974, it is registered as a Charitable Housing Association under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 (No. 21222R) and with the Regulator of Social Housing (No. L0104).  In 1989 a lasting relationship was forged between CESSAC and Greenwich Hospital to manage Greenwich Court in Southsea on its behalf. Subsequently further schemes were added in Greenwich (London) and Saltash (Cornwall).

The Association is a member of the National Housing Federation (No. 306).

CESSAC & CESSA HA share the same registered office and the 8 members of staff that work there, are all jointly employed to varying degrees; less our team in Cyprus.  Those members of staff that support Greenwich Hospital schemes/residents, are employed by CESSAC rather than CESSA HA.
